Transmission problem
1993 GMC Suburban Four Wheel Drive Automatic 225000 miles
Thiis old Surbaban has a transmission fluid leak through the o-ring on the electrical connector toward the rear of the transmission on the top. I have removed the plug going into it, the pan to gain access to the plug, but I cannot remove the plug sufficiently to remove the o-ring; there is what appears to be a black solenoid attached to the valve body that blocks the connector from being removed. What can I safely remove without messing up the transmission so that I can remove the plug from it's entry hole and replace the o-ring?
