Check or just replace the coolant temperature sensor (CTS). Test the o2 sensors. Is this a fuel injected or carburated engine? Check the fuel filter. Check for intake leaks.

Carburators do not have throttle bodys. Do you have an electric fuel pump in the fuel tank?
If there is no increase of voltage with throttle movement, then the TPS sensor is either bad or power voltage is not present.
