I am trying to reconnect all the linkage for the door lock mechanism and I am unable to find the right configuration. I have a Chilton manual, but it is of no help. Beside the obvious lack of room, I cannot get the linkage to line up to be able to operate properly. Is there a diagram for placement or do you have tips?

I am interested in finding out if you ever figured out the problem. I own a 67 3 door suburban and am having trouble with my front driver side door not being able to be locked. I can lock it with the door open. But as soon as I close it I can NOT lock it anymore. t's like it has something blocking the mechanism from engaging. I have taken off the door hardware, lubed everything, and reinstalled but no luck! Any ideas? Thanks! ~Dennis
