i have a 2003 gmc sonoma, i tried to use my 4wd and i hear a loud thump but works fine when using the 2wd, what is my problem??... milage is 170000 and motor is 4.2.. i was told my cv joint axle needs to be changed but i cant pinpoint what side the noise is coming from, should i replace both sides?
