Recently I went to start the truck and it started briefly then died. I then noticed that when I turned the ignition on I didn't hear the fuel pump kick in. I then opened the shredder valve and pressed the pin in with my key and got no fuel pressure. I removed the fuel relay and jumped it with wires from the battery and it still made a clicking sound. I then put the relay back and turned the key on and heard the clicking sound. I still don't hear the fuel pump kick in in. Could the relay still be bad or should I look at replacing the fuel pump?

Power the fuel pump direct from the battery to rule it out
