2000 GMC Sonoma Eratic fuel gauge drain in rdo/batt fuse

suddenly i have a drain on my battery. when i pull the rdo/batt fuse the drain appears to go away but my battery was dead in the morning. i left that fuse out and removed the radio still the battery was dead in the morning. also my gas gauge is very eratic never accurate. any help by the way i just put a brand new battery in it.

All battery connections clean and tight on both ends? Did you check the charging system? How did you check battery drain? Did you check amp draw?

all cables are tight positive cable clean and new negative is rusty. and yes checked for amp drain .8 with rdo/batt fuse in .2 with fuse pulled

Usually a serious drain is several amps. If the battery has a full charge and the charging system is working, I don't believe the drain you listed will cause any problems.
