1996 GMC Sonoma creaked head gasket

My problem is i have a cracked head gasket and maybe a cracked head. I was wondering how hard is this job to do myself, because i don't feel liek spending 900 dollars?

Not to bust your bubble, but, if you gotta ask, have a pro do it. It's not rocket science to replace a cylinder head, but there is a lot to tear apart, a lot to remember how to put back together, and, if you screw up, it will cost you a lot more to fix it than it would to have paid for it the first time.
