What temperature will damage engine parts. Is there a way to determine if there is damage to engine parts after overheating?

As far as the temp, it really deals with what conditions the engine is under. Will the engine still start?

Yes, The engine will start....I was just curious to know what temp the cylinder heads would start to warp at. I hadn't had a chance to take the snowplow off and there was a record high temperature and my engine over heated.

THey shouldn't warp until you are over 150+ degrees. Even at that point, there is a good chance a head gasket will go but the heads will be fine. If they are warped, you can have them machined.
Let me know if you have other questions.
