The A/C in my truck sometimes works, sometimes doesnt. All the fuses are good and its full of refridgerant. I can NOT always hear my pump come on and once in a while it will leak water in on the passenger floor board. If the truck is sitting still and the A/C has been working, it will slow way down and the air will not be nearly as cold. Thank you for your insight.

First of all thank you so much for your donation. How do you know it has the proper amount of charge in the system? Also have you hooked up gauge's to the high and low side to see what the pressure's are with the a/c on?If you have what are the pressure's?Also what model do you have 1500 etc? What size engine?Do you have auto climate control or manual?

I bought the recharge kit and used the guage that came with it. I only hooked it up to, i believe, the low side because of the high pressure in the high side. It read somewhere near 60-65 psi. It was in the alert range of the guage. It is a 1500, 5.3L, and manual dual climate control. Thank you so much for your advice.

Follow the pressure spec's i posted depending on what your outside temp and humidity is is what your low side should be it varies depending on weather. All so to trouble shoot a/c we need both high and low pressure's just having the low side only paint's half the picture. Most the time when you have a/c problem's it's caused by low charge. But we can't tell by pressure how much charge you have in the system only if there is a problem in the system. The only way to tell how much charge is in the system is to have the system recovered by a a/c machine and then charged by the machine with the proper amount of charge.
