Last night when I shifted my truck into 4H from 2H, aI heard a lound clunk, and something that sounded like grinding gears. After that the truck ws in four wheel drive, but the lever just flops around. I rmeovd the cover and the level, and it appears that something in the transfer casse much be broken off. The transfer case has label 5497H. It is now stuck in four wheel drive
