2003 GMC Sierra 4 wheel drive

My truck has electronic transfer. Light does not come on at all on dash and cannot shift from 2 to 4 wheel drive. Fuse on dash is good. What else can I check?

same thing happened to my truck and it was just out of the blue, go to start it up the next day and everything was working
