2001 GMC Sierra replace driver side power window motor and

Raise and support the window. Remove the trim panel. Remove the water deflector. Disconnect the wiring harness from the window motor assembly. Remove the 2 bolts holding the window to the regulator. Remove the bolts from the window regulator. Remove the window regulator assembly from the door folding both sides together. Remove the window regulator motor. Installation Procedure Install the window regulator motor. Install the regulator to the door. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Install the bolts to the window regulator. Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Align the window to the regulator and install the bolts holding the window to the regulator. Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Connect the wiring harness to the window motor assembly. Install the water deflector. Install the trim panel. Lower the window. Inspect the window operation.
