Ok, Service Writer,

I thought the Knock Sensor on the 2000 GMC Sierra were under the Intake Manifold for V8's

Mitchell1 may be but the last couple I worked on they were under the intake. And I might be wrong here to but I didn't think the 2000 had the 5.7 thought they went to 6.0 and also the 4.8 and 5.3 for the V8's

Ok, I see we need to make sure of the model. Just checked if it is a Sierra then it is under the intake if it is the C or K Series then you are correct.

HEy MArk...

I think that was a transition between the new body style and old.

I've screw myself many times with this. Not so sure on the GMC, but the sister chevy was a split year. 5.7 (old) k1500 vs 5.3 (New)Silverado.

Ain't life difficult enough wothout the need to track down info?
