My truck is sticking in 4 wheel drive?

my truck is sticking in 4 wheel drive, I am not able to put it back into 2 wheel without going back and forth for 30 min or so. What would cause this???

have the transfer case control module checked for codes.It probably has a defective encoder sensor.

yep, I agree the transfer case shift actuator gets weak and it needs to be replaced. here is the location and how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
