1999 GMC Sierra check engine oil level

The check engine oil level light will not go off.I have already replaced the sensor and it still remains on,also hade the oil changed so i know the oil level is ok.Thank you for your help.

This sensor you have replaced is for the oil temperature sensor-you need to check the oil pressure switch and the oil pump. This 2 can caused the problem to include engine bearings

The sensor I replaced was the low oil level sensor.The light went off after a few miles of driving,I guess the computer needed to reset.Thank You for the help,stickfixer
