ok I have a question about my speedo cable. Its not working so i checked under the dash behind the gauge, and everything is hooked up fine. I looked around the transmission area ( where i figured it would be) AND I CANT FIND WHERE THE SPEEDO GOES. I think it is un hooked because when i got the truck it worked for about a week and a half, but kinda sketchy. then it quit. I just need a little FAQ on where to locate the the other end of the speedo cable. I have the 4[img] spd manual transmission, not sure what model.

please and thank you for your help.

OK the speedo cable is towards the rear of the transmission, to replace the cable, unhook it at the dash, pull the cable out of the guide, install new one, and use a syringe with transmission fluid, and pump some into the guide thru the top...If this does not do it the gear at the transmission end is bad...
