There are several inside lights that don't work, none of the cigarette outlets work, and the left side of all speakers don't work, so I'm guessing it's a fuse issue (hopefully). Just bought the van, so it's never worked. Manual says the fuse box is "on the drivers side" and I found it under the driver's seat. But I cannot get to it at all! I cannot even open it. How does one get to that fuse box? Also would appreciate any know-how if you don't think it's a fuse issue. Thanks!!

Information I have on this is muddy at best.

What lights specifically are out. maybe I can back my way into the problem (s)

The seat has to be pulled to access the fuse box..nice design. There is another fuse box under the hood.

Post back with the lights that are out.

1) ALL the cigarette lighters don't work
2) There is a little console up above the rear view mirror with a panel of lights with toggle switches, only the ceiling indirect lights work and the cabinet lights work, but not lower indirect lights, nor driving lights, nor rear radio.
3) The left speakers don't work.

Does the driver's seat actually have to be removed, then? Is that hard?

1-Check the underhood fuses in this pic first:

2- Which are the lower indirect lights? The one by the side of the legs?, What are the driving lights?...Head lights? Instrument cluster lights? Where are they located? Rear radio or rear controls? My diagram only shows the one radio. The rear controls are on the same circuit and would rule out the radio fuse. But I would want to look at the connector of the rear seat audio control. Look for any signs of damage to the connector or signs of corrosion.

3-The left rear speakers go through the rear seat audio control seen above. There is a wire common to the interior lighting sustem or more directly the instument illumination. The brown -white wire.
