I had a tune up 6 months ago and the mechanic said the spark pugs wires were bad and wanted a fortune to replaced them so I did it myself and put the best Bosch wires I could buy in it 6months later it stated again so i talked to the mechanic and he said its because I didnt used ac delco oringinals in it. That doesn't seem logical to me ! since I had it apart i replaced the rotor and cap. this is an intermitant problem some times the van will run 2 days ok then it starts agian then goes away. Any help finding this will be much appreciated

you should use the factory parts, but it sounds like you might have a injector thats sticky or failing.If your van has the CPI injection (vin code W, 8th digit in the vin) then the injector would be sensible

Using OEM parts is probably best for GM vehicles. BOSCH and other aftermarket equipment on factory GM vehicles can cause premature wear and tear on the plugs, etc. From personal experience using BOSCH plugs and wires on my vehicle (before some modifications) the plugs would burn too hot and basically fry in no time.

I would say if the plugs look destroyed or oil fouled you may need to replace them. The wires should be fine for the time being.

It may be the injectors, it is logical, but before investing a lot of money in that, I would start looking a the smaller items.
