2003 GMC Safari spark plug replacement

I have had the enigne cover off and the wheel well rubber covers removed and cannot see how to access all spark plugs for replacement. In fact I did not see how any of them except for two on the ppassenger sid ecan be replaced. How is spark plug replacement accomplished?

I usually do them through the fenderliners and from underneath with the tires removed. If you use along 24" extension with a universal on the plug socket you can do them through thefenders. Then I believe the last one an pass side from underneath. Not the easiest tune up. be sure to use OE (A/C Dleco) parts

I just replaced the plugs on my 1995 2 wheel drive, 6 cyl, A/C Safari, It is really a tough job. Remove the engine cover inside the van to replace the passenger side plugs. From the Distributor cap trace the wires to the plug, unsnap the wire holder/guide to give it more play. Plugs are in the middle of a heat shield. rotate the wire plug socket to free it and pull it off. Use a swivel socket wrench, short extension and a 5/8 inch plug socket and remove the plugs, remember where the plug was located and the angle to the engine so you can replace it and not cross the threads. Same procedure for driver side plugs but access is from under the Van.
I would not want to do this for a living, small hands help.
