Electrical problem
1999 GMC Safari 133000 miles
I recently bought a 1999 GMC Safari with 133,000 miles in good shape. The previous owner had a front end collision with no frame damage about two weeks before I purchased it. He had the damage completely repaired. About two weeks after I purchased the car the front windshield wiper wouldn't shut off. After a few minutes it went off but every now and then go on again. The next day the rear windshield wiper came on by itself. They would both go on and off with no reasonable explanation. The switches are in two completely different areas, so I don't think its a short in the stalk. The rear one became so annoying I disconnected the motor. The front one also kept on coming on more and more so I unplugged that motor. The other day I was driving along and the fan motor for the AC unit went from full to low to very low and then high again. Again with no good reason. Now I noticed that the right directional signal blinks very fast, but here again not all the time. Sometimes it works fine other times it blinks fast. I also noticed that the entire right front light assembly is dim. PLEASE HELP...this is driving me crazy!!
