my 94 gmc van backfires through the t.bodie after it reaches operating tempand accelerating up hill or pulling out from a stop.iwas told the cat. conv. was cloged took exhaust loose from manifold same problem. replaced coolant temp sensor,crank shaft pos. sensor,throtle pos. sensor. checked all fuses. ithen found a pinched wire between air cleaner and t.bodie which leads to fuel injectors. i still have not fixed the problem any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated so i can grt back on the road looking for ajob currently unimployed and cant afford the repair shop but as soon as im on the road i would like to make a donation thanks

Check out Dist cap for carbon arching and the rotor for a black burn mark under contact. Also take cap off top of dist cap see if arching has occured to ground treminal.
