1993 GMC Safari the battery light keeps going off and the v

ive pulled off the alternater and battery and both were tested at napa and both are good...but the voltage gage keeps going way low the lights will dim and the battery light will go on....sometimes it will charge though mostly when your in drive and hit the accelerator im not sure what to do....it starts just fine and runs well besides that..
