my front axle, cb/cv joint or steering colum

what model car do you have? is the noise comming from left or right turns or both? with the car parked you can turn your steering wheel all the to the left and look at the rubber boot (cv axle boot) to see if it is cracked opened and has grease comming from it.do this also with the other side.if so you will need to replace the cv axle.
