How do i reset my Change engine oil light after changed oil

With the engine off, key on, hit the thottle to the floor 5 times. Shut key off than turn back on, the light should be out.

I have a 94 impala SS, and after you change the oil you have to go inside of the fuse panel in the passenger compartment on the drivers side. Turn the ingintion to the on position(dont start engine) then go inside the fuse panel there is a button that says(oil reset). Im pretty sure GM would have put this on most of there models,not exactly sure if your model does.

Yes GM did do there service light reminder reset procedure a couple different ways, but your Montana is done the way I described earlier. :D
