hood release cable

well i'm sorry 'bout your hood cable can't help there, but you probley did get a bad water pump.

For anyone interested, I fixed this problem myself, after talking to many others about it . And getting no ware.
Remove the front grill, thiers 4 small star screws just under the lip of the hood you have to pry the grill slightley away from the hood , its plastic so its not to difficult.2 head light frame screws. And it comes right off . Now The 2 bults right in the center of the hood release remove and your thier . the hood pops right open. Dont forget to fix the cable before closeing the hood again . Replace latch and grill and your all set. Just had to take some time away from it to think and I got it . :roll:

And oh sorry but the waterpump was fine, it was an air lock that caused the over heating and once it burped it stop. All fine now. Thanks
