Crankshaft Position Sensor

I have a 1991 Oldls Cutless Supreme Int. with a 3.1 engine, and auto trans. I am trying to find the location of the crankshaft position on the engine so that I can replace it and save myself $800.oo

It is behind the harmonic balancer and is fitted into grooves in the balancer. Look carefully and you can see the connection. "sometimes" you can remove it without removing the balancer but it is easier to remove it. It comes off easy and you can get to it by removing part of the fender well on that side. Good luck
