1995 Other GMC Models bad miss

van ran fine today when started it was rough and sounded like it was running on a couple of cylenders
so i replaced the plugs wires rotor cap coil sounds a little better but still nothing if i give it gas it sounds fine but at idle it wil not run dies after a few seconds

check your IAC valve and clean out the throttle body.

also check the EGR valve and PCV valve.

Runs then dies? check fuel pressure. Does it have black smoke out the tailpipe when it does run? Those CPI engines had alot of problems with injectors and fuel pressure regulators
