no power

my alternator went on my 1996 gmc jimmy sle i replaced it now i hooked the battery back up now i have no power no lights no nothing what could of happen please help me

check the battery cables and the battery for corrosion , then check the battery itself for having a charge , cant be much wrong here , lket us know

my 1996 gmc jimmey has a fuse problem it has 110,000 miles on it the number 4 fuse keeps blowing its for the gauges on the inside speed voltage rpms thoses gauges does anybody have any suggestions what to do.
