I have an 88 GMC Jimmy, 350 FI, Automatic transmission with overdrive. When my truck is at an idle, are the injectors suppossed to drip? When I rev the engine at the TBI unit, it has a nice spray pattern. The truck idles very nice, runs very strong with no black smoke. Over the weekend, I cleaned my TBI unit and installed a new fuel pressure regulator, all o-rings and filters at bottom of injectors.

Thanks

Its not suppose to be dripping the pattern should be a cone looking shape when pulse by the computer. The computer knows when to inject to keep it idling right and knows when fuel enrichment is needed by other sensors inputs.
