98 GMC Jimmy parking brake

The parking brake on my 98 Jimmy is not working. I checked the cable and it is moving all the way to and including the trigger on the brake on the rear wheels but nothing is happening. Any suggestions on what the problem is?

Is that 4 wheel disc or disc/drum? Check the adjustment of the e-brake shoes

It is not 4 wheel how do I check the adjustment on the e-brake shoes?

The drum should just barely slip on and off the axle
