I'm finding the truck idles funny at times. my rpm's will rise and drop erratically, and my oil pressure and volt meter gauges fluctuate as well with that. the diagnostic machine read off the O2 sensor codes, and I changed them, and i've also changed the PCV. I'm wondering if it might be the EGR is plugged up maybe??? or could it be something else??
On a side note with the EGR...i cannot find it on this truck at all. I know the older blazers/jimmy's it was right on the front, but on mine there's nothing there. (it's the 4.3L V6 vortec, on the 2003 SLS model)

Not every related O2 sensor code means that O2 sensors are bad
it sounds as you have a vacuum leak and also check for egr position
check intake gasket
what was that code ?
need number

i would have no idea what the number would be. i wasn't there when it was on the reader. i know the intake gasket was changed already before i bought it. vac leak sounds very plausible. where is the egr on this engine? i have no idea where it is...they moved it or something. my dad has the blazer with the same engine, and his is right there, smack in the middle!! mine....not so sure where it went for this model year.

Have to get the codes
codes is the map to your problem
you have check engine light on
PCM sensing a troubled area and given you a code to diagnose the problem
so no need for going at it with your eyes closed
if don’t have OBD2 reader or scan tool
you can buy one they are cheep enough comparing to the saving if planning on fixing your own
or some part stores offer code reading for free
check in your area.
