2001 JIMMY POWER SEAT PROBLEM

I've recently had the same problem, and mine was a short in the black box located under the seat. remove the box and the circuit board within it. Mine had a noticeable short underneath. They had wanted $400 to fix it, so I went to a junk yard, and bought a used piece for 10 dollars. Seat works great, and changed it in minutes.
