My Jimmy is hard to start in the morning. Fuel pump and filter have been replaced. You can hear the pump working when trying to start it. Starter fluild in the intake helps, so does connecting jump cables as if the battery is dead. When I get it to start, it will work fine for the rest of the day but won't start again in the morning. Please help.

Do you have the spider fuel system, I'd still have to check fuel pressure, key on engine off 60--66psi. Sometimes the fuel poppets need cleaning.

JDL, Don't know waht the fuel system. How can I tell which system? When fuel pressure was checked three months ago, it was good with same problem. I can only find the pressure problem while the Jimmy is malfunctioning correct (i.e. if I get it started and check pressures, it will probably be good)?

Any problem, you have to test when the problem is ongoing. The partsbook showed you have the spider fuel system. The 60--66 psi is key on engine off. Usually with engine running, it will run ok with less pressure.
