My 1998 Jimmy has quit going into reverse. It was all of a sudden. I parked it one afternoon, got in it the next evening and it wouldn't go into reverse. There was no warning or jerking it was there and then it wasn't. It goes into drive just fine but it is not shifting through the forward gears right either. It revs into the red until you back off the throttle an give it gas again then it will shift into 2nd same thing with 3rs and OD. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
