1998 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

oil pan full has no oil pressure. Plesae give most common reasons and if it is the iol pump, does the motor need to be pulled?

When the engine runs, does it knock and tap? If not, try replacing the oil sending unit. If it does knock and tap, chances are the oil pump is bad or the screen on it is plugged.
