Engine Performance problem
1998 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 147k miles
Engine began shaking while I was driving. Had wires and plugs replaced but problem still exists. Man who replaced them thinks the problem may be the distributor cap and rotor. Before I sink more money into this, could there be a problem with the catilytic converter also? I am at the point of selling this vehicle because it has been a never ending money pit of repairs and am concerned about shelling out hundreds more on it. code at diagnosis was P306 (misfire on 6), replaced plugs but code still reads the same. Help!
