Hoping someone can tell me where fuse 24 gets its power. I know it's based on the position of the ignition switch. What I need to know is does it come directly from the ignition switch or does it branch from a bulkhead connector or something else? And wire color would be helpful too, so someone with a schematic would be really helpful.

Here's my story:

The vehicle is in "limp mode". Only 2nd & Drive work, no 1st, no overdrive. And it won't shift automatically, have to use 2nd & 3rd manually. Also, the key will not turn all the way back & remove from the switch. Have to poke the bottom of the solenoid to remove the key from the ignition. I'm not getting power at fuse 24. If I run 12 volts to fuse 24, everything works ok.

It's throwing five error codes, all associated with the transmission electrical system, and if I had those with me I'd include them, sorry. But I'm fairly certain it is all due to an electrical issue supplying voltage to this circuit fed from fuse 24.

I've removed, inspected, cleaned & reconnected the connectors at the transmission, they both seemed fine. I've got the console out of the vehicle right now, and everything around the floor shifter seems to appear & operate as it should. There are two connections there, one two-wire for a bulb for the gear indicator, and one four-wire that releases the shifter from park when the key is on & the brake is depressed.

From the bits & pieces of information I've been able to find on the web, I know I should have 12V at that fuse with the switch on, and I don't (the fuse looks & tests fine), and when I apply 12V to it with a jumper wire, I'm good. But I can't find info to help me trace the problem between the fuse panel & the ignition switch.

Powered by ignition switch terminal C1apink/white wire at connector changes to white wire to fuse 24 so either ign.sw. or connector is at fault
