One day while driving i noticed that the transmission seemed to slip a bit on the highway. When i got to my exit it would feel as though the truck was in nuetral when it was time to accelerate. I had to put the gear in reverse for it to click in a gear and then back into drive for it to click into gear. The truck would be fine and then it would slip back into a neutral-like setting again. After i got to a parking lot, i noticed there was a slight clicking/knocking noise coming from the transmission. The noise was not there when i started the truck back up again hours later. The truck went about a mile or two before the same problem came back again. What could this be?

If the transmission fluid condition and level is okay-bring it in and get it pressure tested-sounds like its slipping
