Okay, I've seen other posts about leaking tranny fluid on this site especially with my year and make. But mines leaking towards the top of the tranny on the right hand side.one may think that all the lines and such are on that side. Well the lines have been checked it's way of leaking is a blowout (a large splatter) then leaves a small trail of drops not a steady stream. So that means it wasn't a pressurized leak so the cooling lines are off the check list. I replaced a line above the tranny that had a hissing sound so there's no vacuum leak. And I noticed that it does it when I stop a little hard like a sudden stop for an example. I need to figure this out soon cause I'm running out of fluids to replace what is lost and it's embarrassing driving down the road in a sharp looking SLT fully loaded with smoke coming out of the hood and the bottom end.

it could be one of the cooler lines have loosened up as they are by the top or it's leaking out the vent. a trans guy should find out why it's leaking out the vent if that's the case.
