1996 GMC Jimmy NO SPARK?

I have recently replaced the fuel pump and the vehicle was running fine and then the cpi went bad and so i replaced it as well and put new plugs in and went to start the jimmy and it wouldn't start, there is no spark from the ignition coil, i know i need to check the coil, but i was cleaning the intake with spray intake cleaner while it was apart and some spattered on the distributor and i wonder if that would cause it, even though its a closed component, any ideas, it sat for 2 months with out running and had spark when parked, so something went wrong while it was just sitting there.
