Engine Mechanical problem
1993 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Ok after about $500 in parts we discovered that fuel is not getting to the cylinders through the lines. We have injector pulse and fuel spraying out of the holes where the spider lines plug into but nothing outta the poppets. Could ALL 6 be corroded and to the point the all seize up? Also, can u get replacement spider lines?

Hello, have you used a gage and checked fuel pressure, the fuel pressure is critical. The cmfi system is sold as an assembly. On the newer spider systems, you can replace individual parts.

I havent checked pressure as its a new pump/fuel assembly. When we take just the injector out, it sprays to the hood when it relieves pressure lol. But I know pressure is not an issue. We replaced it with a used CPI that worked, now it may be fubared. So we might have to change with a brand new CPI eh?

You may be correct about the fuel pressure issue? I hate to replace anything without doing the basic tests, for me, that includes using a fuel pressure gage.
