, have some faith in yourself , as a tech of 20yrs i have alot of tools and may have had made or bought a wrench to fitbut i dont think so , before you do pull the shaft look at the bolt really hard and make sure nothing will fit , wait are you looking at the right part , the encoder motor is on the left side of the transfer case , the only thing even close to the driveshaft is the motor housing which has no bolts , yours should have three bolts on the side , maybe im thinking you meant the torsion bar , i did one a few weeks back on a 99 same thing and it was out and in , in approx 15 minutes , let me know what you think and find
i was also sitting here wondering what exactly led you to the encoder motor?? usually when they go outthey will still make noise but not switch gears , i have pulled them apart and found out why , but if you have a different scenario let me knowyou are calling the encoder motor atccm, the tccm is the computer that controls the motor via the switch on the dash , i just want to make sure you are replacing the right part if you wouldnt mind telling me what happened
