The Battery went dead in my envoy. I was able to get it cranked and took to local store where they determined that the battery needed replacing. I noticed on the way to store that the fuel guage, power windows, power seats, dorr locks and several things like that were not working. After having the battery replaced, the fuel guage began working normally but many things do not such as PW, PL, PSeat, etc.
The battery was totally dead when the problem began as it would not try to turn over at all.
Is there some reset that has to be performed after total battery loss?
P.S. The people who changed battery say they put a power saver on it before disconnecting battery to make sure memory was not lost but I think it was too late as battery was already way dead.
I would appreciate any advice.
