tailgate will not open

The tailgate will not open. When I sqeeze the pressure switch that releases the tailgate, nothing happens. Both of the pressure switches for the tailgate are not working. What would cause both of them not to work. Is there a way to manually open the tailgate?

I'm having the same problem....is there a wiring diagram available. Owners manual doesn't even show a fuse...

There is a fuse #3 and #23 that need to be checked to see if they are blown. Here is a guide to help you with that.

If you can hear something working in the tailgate then it is having a mechanical issue and you will need to remove the inner panel to inspect. Here are some diagram (below) that will help us get the problem fixed.
