2004 GMC Envoy Tach and Fuel Gauge problem

The tach stopped reading correctly several months ago. No big problem, just annoying. Last weekend the fuel gage stopped reading properly. When the ignition is off, the needle points to the 12 oclock position. With the engine running, it now points to the six oclock position. Any ideas??
