your encoder motor on the side of the transfer case may be frozen but unlikely. try disconnecting battery for 10 minutes to reset the transfer case control module, see if that helps. the encoder motors get full of salt and usually rots out and you have to replace it. hope this helps

I JUST LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND THERE IS SNOW UP ISIDE THERE WHERE IS THE TRASFER CASE LOCATED

the rear driveshaft slides into the transfer case in the middle of the truck. the encoder motor is located on the transfer case right behind where the front driveshaft goes into it,.
