2002 GMC Envoy changing valve cover gaskets

iam trying to change the valve cover gaskets, i can't get the manafold cover off. i got every bolt off but it still want come off. what am i missing?

i got a manual and it said take the bolts out and i did but it still want come off am i missing something else that needs to come off?
