We are trying to remove a water pump from a 1997
GMC Suburban with a 350 engine. We have been at it for about 4 hours and it is still not off. We rented a "special tool" to help remove it, it doesn't work.
We are not sure which way the bolt turns (we think it is the same way as the fan turns, which would be to the left if you are standing in front of the car). It won't budge. Any suggestions?
