2008 GMC C3500 squeeking door gaskets on extended cab

Dear Sirs, Thank you for being available to hopefully help me . I've contacted G M since I have'nt got any satisfaction from the dealer as far as stopping the squeeking noises I get while driving along on a flat paved road at very low speeds. The dealer said it's from sand getting between the door gaskets , to keep them clean and to dress the gaskets often with silicone spray. G M dose'nt think this is abnormal. Well I think its not normal for the spueeks in a brand new truck which cost over $40,000 . Well my question is there anything better than using silicone to treat the gaskets or any sugestions you have I would appreciate your help. I understand why people say buy foreign cars and trucks

try some white lithium grease that sucker will last forever.

does greasing it prevent this problem?

check with an online defect recall place and see if there are any recalls for your vehicle.

I am a retired technician from General Motors, I can probably help you but you need to tell me a little bit more, is it a squeaking noise? or is it an air noise? was it there when you first bought the truck? how did it start and how long after you had the truck? and if so, tell me the activities you have been doing with truck? I have got a few ideas so get back to me.

the dash could be rubbing up against the door causing it to squeak. doubt its the doors. try moving them up and down.

I believe because of truck is brand-new, the factory screwed up on assembly, until tedr responds to my questions we are up in the night, I am glad we are arguing, because nothing really gets done, without arguments.

all i know is there is no sand getting in there that fast, and sand wouldnt cause it to squeak like that!

you are right!!! but because mr.tedr is not responding I believe the battle is between me and you, so fasten your seat belt, we are going to go, where no technician has gone before, to enter a ride beyond sight and sound is called the twilight zone, on a ride beyond your total imagination.
