1999 GMC C3500 Need to repair door opening mechanism

Interior problem
1999 GMC C3500

The door handle broke when i tried to open the driver's side door. I need to know
how to remove the interior door panel to get at the problem. I tried to pry the oanel off off but it didn't move. I was afraid of breaking somthing. Can anyone help me?

are there any screws in the arm rest? or under the door? i did the same thing and brok the trim on the whole door!
